Andrew Mackie - Group Leader

Andrew has been an Account Manager with Cisco since the beginning of 2004. In this role he is responsible for Cisco's engagement with the Defence Department (excluding the Intelligence Group). In his role he has worked to ensure that Defence gains maximum value from it's investment with Cisco. Andrew has been able to fulfill this role effectively by drawing on his 21 years of experience as an Army communication officer in both the conventional and Special Operations and DMO project manager. Andrew has extensive experience in Defence business from tactical through to strategic and interdepartmental operations and policy development. Andrew is an active member of the community as a Scout Leader and member of his local Rural Fire Brigade.
He is married to Adriana who with their two children Angus and Madeline live in the Gundaroo area.
Richard Flemming - Assistant Group Leader

I was brought up in Northern Sydney and moved to 'Upper Gundaroo' about 15 years ago. We've a small farm about ten minutes South of Gundaroo. My immediate family consists of two horses, a donkey, three alpacas, a rooster, three chooks, one wife (Andrea) and two kids (James and Ian).
I am a researcher with the Defence Science and Technology Organisation. Andrea is a contractor working for Defence at Russell offices. The boys go to Canberra Grammar and the other animals generally stay at home.
I did computer science at Sydney Uni and then various degrees in related areas at ADFA. I like music, books, horse riding, history, overseas travel and good food and wine.
I do most of the cooking at home and avoid the cleaning .I'm also a member of the Gundaroo Bushfire Brigade.
Andrea says I spend too much time playing World of Warcraft and talk too much.
